The central panel of the tryptic, reproduced in this etching, portrays the submission of the Moors' chiefs to the King and his people, on the Portuguese camp. On the right of D. Afonso Henriques and behind the Bishop, the historians Vieira da Silva, Roque Gameiro and Augusto Castilho seem to be represented.
